The mission of the PKD Foundation Chapters is to assist the PKD Foundation on a local level in promoting critical programs of research to find a cure for PKD and improve the care and treatment of those it affects. Chapters are facilitated by volunteers who want to make a difference in the fight to end PKD. Chapter activities focus on three key areas:
Education
Educate patients and family members about PKD by planning educational meetings or seminars. Promote educational opportunities offered by the Foundation in the local community.
Fundraising
Identify individuals, corporations and foundations interested in financially supporting the Foundation.

Support
Assist patients by locating resources available in the local community. Provide opportunities for PKD patients and their families to connect and support each other.
